Hope in a official translation soon![]()
Using google to translate the text says in one of the lines: "the gauge action is deprecated".
I didn't know anything about that nor an official EN anouncement, maybe there was one and I missed it, but if that's true I'm happy.
There would be no need for an Action Gauge with an Auto-Attack function anyways.
Spells work better with cooldowns and cast times, they don't need a third mechanic to gum up their use. Half the time I am playing I have no clue whether I am even going to be able to cast some spells, or if they will just sputter out.
Bye bye stamina gauge, these changes to the battle system should prove interesting.
yeah they are killing stamina guage, looks like it will be a TP and recast based system. Which means TP is once again king. Also looks like they may kill all the various basic attacks, someone mentioned movement with steadfast, but ill let a real translation come. Over all, sounds like battle is going to have a lot less depth, closer to spamming cooldowns, probably reduce tp gain, or else people will be spamming weaponskills, only way out of that is to have animations act like stamina.
I suppose they could put a short cool down on the basic attacks and keep them, like 2 seconds or something, they mentioned using half tones to show when attacks are available.
They mentioned something with reactionary skills,

Odd, I thought they said something about keeping the stamina bar...
