Troll tanks in queues

Withdraw maybe, missing it never, I rarely have the issue, but I really feel bad for dps and their long queues, so many times I hear people say, that they just stepped away for a second, maybe to grab a fresh drink or go to the bathroom to see they lost their super long queue. And for them to have to wait 15 minutes to requeue on top of that, not fair, the tanks/heals don't miss out by having an afk dps, a new one pops back in pretty fast.

I don't think a 5 minute penalty is really needed just a better queue system that stops trying to drag people in if they withdraw a couple of times. It's kind of annoying for a queue to pop and to press commence like 20 times only for it to cancel a second later because a person clicked withdraw. I get that people look for in progress runs at times i do it too since you get some stuff like 3/6 Prae and 1/3 WP that are really short and simple for a large gain. But i won't requeue a dungeon that keeps popping that i don't even want. It's just going to keep forcing that one on you anyway so you might as well stop trying for that one for a while.

Lots of people will just sit there and withdraw over and over so i think if they refuse a couple of times they should just be removed from that queue and somebody else should be pulled in. Also don't outright cancel so we have to keep clicking over and over. Just hold everyone there and get one new person.

My favourite troll tank is the one who loves to use the LB before the Nails on HM Ifrit... having had a full discussion on who was doing what. Also failed to stun anything. Need to be able to report griefers.

I sincerely disagree with the need to add a penalty for not accepting the queue.

I happen to like queuing for AK/WP and waiting until I get an in-progress run.

If SE gave us the ability to select "only join in progress parties" then that would be a much better solution than telling me I can't keep declining the queue until I get what I want.

And they should give you 2 minutes at least for accepting.

I usually never withdraw, but I do not stand there still while waiting for DF to get me into some instance: I craft, gather, exp ACN, sort out inventory and buy/sell from and on the market.

When I get the Accept/Withdraw window I have 30/40 seconds to end what I am doing and often it is not enough.

....this happens especially when exping ACN, since I need to get changed back to my 50 job of choice, but 9 times out of 10 I am engaged in battle or my pet is, so I cannot change soon enough to accept.


DF acceptance timer is actually the main reason for my ACN to be still at Lv25

If you are going to penalize me for being AFK during that one minute window to accept than you sir can freeze in one of the icy hells (they are by far worse than the hot ones). If this became a thing at least give me 5min to respond so I can at least use the freakn bathroom.

Sometimes you can't accept. It's happened to me before. I'll queue in DF and then change jobs and go off leveling something else, usually in a FATE. The timer comes up when I'm engaged in combat. Precisely when you're not allowed to change jobs. So I'll either try to get the kill real quick, or disengage and try to run outside of range of the mob so that I can change jobs. I change jobs, go back into DF... only to find the timer's expired and I have to re-queue.

It happens.

So Im running this CM run and we kill first boss and then 1 HEALER decides to watch cutscenes and says "Sorry FIRST run" I left instantly . Didn't whine didn't complain just left .

I was main tank .
