GW2 has been out for longer than FFXIV: ARR. You got to let Square get it together first.

GW2 released on august 2012, so it wasn't that far off from halloween. The gw2 halloween patch was fun, so was the christmas one. But their regular content patches sucked hard..

The poster is nice and the lore is very interesting, so that's an improvement from the last Halloween event and the awful Summer event.



If only we had a real Bard or some kind of entertainer class/job like the poster shows.

Still hoping we do at some point.
I remember a thread a while back describing how there could be a sort of entertainer class that led into Dancer as it's job, which would be fun.

I'm happy it is something to be honest rather than just it being a mindless F.A.T.E. Now if they can combine the two with the story and rewards as well as the opportunity to obtain currency for items I'll be happy. That said, I'm pleased that we are getting events considering everything else they had to do.

diablo 3 took 13 years to make, FF14 took 2 years to remake

Clearly ff14 is doing a job 10 times better, at least...

Give them more time to sort server, bugs out, and more time for the newer player base to catch up, then they can experience higher end seasonable events. Such as a seasonable raid for example...
