Excellence announces - NEWBIE GIVEAWAY

That's right! Excellence has decided to give something back to the server, starting this Friday at 11 PM server time* we will have representatives in The Bannock, The Black Shroud as well as Camp Black Brush, Thanalan.

Anyone who is up to level 15 is welcome to then contact one of our representatives on place to receive one item or consumable suitable to their level.

We will also be announcing this minutes before in /shout but we're letting you know early, so if you're low level, be there or be square!

Also if you can't attend this particular event, don't fret! This will just be the beginning of things to come, we have a lot of plans in the pipes right now, of course I can't give away any details yet, but stay tuned!

In addition to the Giveaway, we'll also open a Linkshell called "How Do I...?". Members of Excellence will be on hand to help with your newbie/lowbie questions, such as:

• How do I start crafting?
• How do I travel to other City-States?
• How do I start a second class?

And so forth!

The LS will open at 11pm Server Time*. To get an invitation, keep an eye on /shout -- we'll be announcing it throughout the evening! Or ask an Excellence member (tag = <<Excel>>) and they'll make sure you get an invitation!

Oh, and by the way, once you join the LS, you'll need to turn its filter on in your Character Configuration screen to see the chat. To get there, go to System > Character > Log Window > Log Filters > General.

*How to determine Server Time: click the button to the left of your little digital clock. It will toggle between ET (Eorzea Time), LT (your local time) and ST (Server Time). 11:00pm Server Time is 6pm Eastern Time, for reference.

Nice work guys, im high lvl but its gud to see people making an effort to build a gud community on our server :-) last time I played an mmorpg wit a gud community was daoc eu about 8 years ago! Since then nowt!
