No one cares how easy it is to get. It's about min/maxing.
If the accuracy isn't needed, then HS+1 would be better.

The functional statistical differences in how you spend your myth tomes are minimal at best. As long as you're earning myth tomes and spending them on gear, and getting upgrades, in a very real sense, upgrading for vanity provides more utility for players than upgrading for statistics.
Because HP been the most notable difference - varies by a couple hundred points based on the piece (e.g. going sword and shield upgrade over AF2 chest). And even that is only a less than 3-4% difference at end game HP pool. Combined with the benefits that sword and shield gives over additional HP - and the difference is a wash.
The average item level of the group and their ability to communicate, strategize and execute will make by far the biggest differences in your success at end game. The item order of your gear relative to those points is like the difference between using <se.1> and <se.2> in a macro...
Upgrade your weakest parts first. Don't worry about what MIGHT drop from a turn. That's lunacy. Don't worry about the sword at all unless you're having emnity issues, which you shouldn't be having at all. The boost to emnity isn't even noticeable in most situations. Establishing threat is more about timing than it is about pure output.
Work with your other Coil tank and make sure you're both buying different myth pieces. That way if something drops one of you gets it and the other already has that part. We've been doing Coil for quite a while and we've only seen a single chest piece drop and one pair of pants, as well as a tanking neck. After over a month. If you're relying on "It'll probably drop for me!" then you're doing it wrong.
I would think skill speed gives better returns than more accuracy when you're already well over the accuracy cap.
