If you are worried about breaking pt to write report just screen cap it and report it later. Jot the notes down on paper at your desk. We all have a different interpretation of "acceptable behavior" and also there is the TOS/game rules re: conduct as the bottom line no matter our interpretation.

It is a matter of how you deal with confrontation when determining whether or not you should have stopped to report or waited but I can say it probably escalates the situation if you don't explain that you are leaving due to being offended. Sometimes telling ppl that you are offended by them can draw more of it towards you.

Another thing, it depends on whether you want to resolve it by telling them that you are offended in hopes it will stop so you can continue play with them, or if you don't want to bother resolving things at all and just want them to realize their behavior through a GM telling them so. If being civil, we each have a responsibility in our roles and informing the party of our plans if the plans will make things bad for them but again, further confrontation of any kind, once you feel harassed, might not be a good idea.

My apologize. I just wanted to leave it to the system to handle it, but I am not that familiar with the system for example I was once told that afk tome farming was acceptable and there was no point in reporting the individual who conducts it while in another instance I was told that whoever conducts it should be reported.

In this particular instance you're potentially as likely to receive punishment as he is, and as that other fella with you is.

The simple reasoning is:

1- Don't threaten to report people and then rub it in their faces-- that's a form of trolling, and it's antagonizing. Just report them, and stay silent. Give them no ammo to use back against you.
2- Fighting trolling by trolling, or insults with insults, is just as bad. That man there who decided to fight the jerk by being a jerk right back, is in as much potential trouble as the jerk himself.

And yes, you should definitely remove that screenshot from your thread now that it's served its purpose. I will tell you that yes, this is fully reportable, and I've gotten a few people slammed for it before, much to my amusement.
