That's fine. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just making a statement about Fists of Wind. FoE doesn't actually make it easier on the healers, it just makes it easier on you. He's going to do AoE damage regardless (since no one should be getting hit by single target except the tank) so they aren't just healing you. Its more about how much you trust them and your HP pool. Titan is all about being comfortable though so it's not like there is a wrong choice when it comes to fists of earth.

I don't personally agree with using FoW for the entirety of P5, there is no real need, but its a valid strategy and I wouldn't tell someone not to do it if it makes them feel more comfortable. Hell, I'd recommend mnks new to the fight do it your way. It's an entirely valid way to do the fight.

You have a valid point with healers going to be doing the healing regardless, but I have literally died from nothing more than tremor damage - from full hp which I think I'm around 3970 at this point. Granted, that was *probably* because one of the healers was 10,000 miles away and not hitting me with their aoe spam... but better safe than sorry and 10% less damage would have saved me there.

FoW in P5, I agree it's not required or needed, but it adds leeway - and while I have not mathed it out there is and always will be a genuine argument for movement speed increasing dps on heavy movement fights. The quicker you get back to a boss, the sooner you're doing damage again - the more damage you deal in total. Whether or not that outweighs 5%... hard to say, but if you ever miss keeping GL3 up by just a second or so I'd say probably worth it.

    Mostly i use fire obviously.
Sometimes I'll switch to Earth for boss mechanic that do unavoidable damage like titan and garuda (destroying the pillars).
So far for boss fights I use fists of wind for the last boss in wanderers palace. I have the tank just park the boss in the middle with the other dps while I run around and kill the adds, pretty fun.
