    CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @4.2GHZ
    MEMORY: 16GB 1600MHZ
    VIDEO: 2 ATI HD5970's in Crossfire, 1 nVidia GT250 on side for PhysX
    HDD: 1 SSD 128 GB Sata 6Gb, 1 TB HDD for backup
    OS: Windows 7 Professional x64

    as i posted earlier so it runs smooth, until my water cooling decides to pop out on me lol

    I've got a PII 965be at 3.8 on air
    and only 8GB or 1600MHz

    I DID, however, just pick up a 990FX AM3+ gigabyte MOBO though...
    I was gonna upgrade to an X6, but I'm thinking I can easily hold off until Bulldozer in Q4
    I've been staying with the 5870 because the 6970 is better, but I'd say not enough to notice, especially not with a single 1920x1080 monitor.... I'd definitely pick up a 5970 if I found one at a good price though...
    Its still one of the top dogs out there... which is crazy seeing how long it's been out....
    I guess technology stopped moving forward as fast as it was 5 or 10 years ago
