WP Speed Run: Warrior Style

Regarding me saying the pulls could be done easily with a warrior: we have better AOE aggro, and the risk of losing aggro to AOE's is much lower. On that 10 minute pally run I saw the pally losing aggro on some groups, and on one pull the BLM was down to 1% HP from aggro issues.

AOE Aggro isn't really the problem. The problem, particularly with the first pull, is the fact that you have 3 tonberrys and 4 birds on you, and however many bettles are still up. AFAIK there would be no way for a WAR to do that in one pull. You would have to split it up into two. Even as a PLD I have to hallowed ground for that pull, and use all of the rest of my cooldowns on the next one.

Would love to see you do that pull entirely with a WAR, not convinced you could do it though.

I do it regularly now, actually. I haven't re-posted a video, but can if you'd like.

I will say that after seeing the 9 minute video I tried to push for it myself. I do all the same pulls as the PLD does in his video, but we can only get the run down to 12 minutes. I believe the difference comes from the defensive CD's pally's get being superior to Warrior's, so the WHM can Holy spam on pulls. The heals are so dedicated on keeping me up on the first & last pull that there is only time to cast 1 maybe 2 Holy's.
