WP Speed Run: Warrior Style

After the hotfix on October 14th, WP became much more viable for farming tomestones. This video shows how a Warrior can clear WP in 15 minutes, making it the best zone to farm tomestones. It makes the zone a bit more interesting, too.

Has anyone else been doing this? Do you know of a faster way to clear through some of the stickier parts of the dungeon? Share your experiences!

I did see that, and they went pure speed-run skipping chests etc. What they did could just as easily (or more easily) be done with a warrior.

The concept in my video is the same, they just spent more time refining the run for pure speed. They also used a bind bug to de-aggro 2 mobs on the 2nd boss, which saves at least 1.5 - 2 minutes.

Regardless, the point of this video is to show other tanks how a speed-run can be achieved.

Good run though! I run with a Blm and Brd (Sometime Blm goes Whm and we do 2 Brds), so we'll have to try something like this.

You'll always have faster runs with good AoE dps, tank just needs to be able to survive the mass pulls is all.
My friends are melee dps, so our runs are slower, but I would rather enjoy the game with friends then force them to play a class they don't like for the sake of speed.

Who cares anyway, it's 1-2 mins difference in an already laughably short dungeon.

Seems ironic after the speed run nerfs on AK that they go and add 100/30 tomes to a dungeon that's even quicker.
