my wife daughter and i played the 1st version of this game for 2 years. i got the CE edition my wife used my buddy pass and i bought my daughter the regular version. when the new edition of the game came out i bought my wife the CE of the game and myself the reg version for early access. i have spent well over $200 on this not including laptops or PC's. my wife still hasn't received the CE items even though i have sent several email informing them of this. the first time payments where due it took me six hours to get it to accept my money despite having plenty of credit. i still had to buy gamer cards to get crystals. this time whenever i try to log in to even try to pay it sends me back to the log in screen when i try to click on my account. i will no longer be buying anything from this company for me or anyone from my family. i would also like to add i have never expedience worse customer service in my life. this barbaric payment system is further proof im wasting my time and energy.

Unless you bought your Wife the PS3 CE, you should have waited for the Digital Upgrade for the CE items. Since the Buddy Pass is a full PC account you cannot apply a second PC code to it. They released this info long ago.

Really? I walked away inside of 2 days, in compelete disgust.
In fact you lose any and all credibility for playing version 1 for 2 years. What a steaming pile of crap that was.

Though im still playing im gonna have to defend the op here a bit. I haven't had problems with my CE items however paying has been a problem since 2010. Usually the only way I have to go around this is via JP > pay pal for crysta, nothing else works. I am not third country and I too have spent a great deal of money on copies for me, my husband and our 2 teens. These are legit problems multiple people are having, just because they aren't happening to you doesn't mean you can't find out it is indeed a problem for people. For some, its enough to finally throw in the towel. For me, though agitated, im dealing with it. Please do not bash people for being upset about real problems that haven't been given any solutions, but in turn OP, theres enough "im quitting" forums and If it had been me I would have said goodbye to my friends and left. You will not find a resolution in posting in anger, if anything, just the kind of responses as the ones above. 10 years in ff mmos and though I have loved my time, I hate to agree.. the customer service in XI and XIV have been horrible and always answered in the fashion, "Im sorry ma'am I can't do anything to help you... Any thing else I can help you with today?"(lol..)

You can also try buying Ultimate Game Cards at a local store if they're available and turning those into Crysta if that route is still available. That's how we used to pay for playing FFXI a couple of years ago.
