You must be a new gamer then. Try playing final fantasy 7. It is claimed to be the best and it is sans vo. And Zelda OoT is the best Zelda which never had vo. Still doesn't have vo. And people love the game.

I'm not going to lie, when I started playing XIV I hated it. After spending a fair amount of time playing, I have grown fond of it. All of the little problems that are in the game are just that. Little problems. So we don't have voice overs, or there is copious amounts of text. Oh well, we have to deal with it and enjoy it. I mean don't we play to enjoy it anyway? Whatever the case, I can't see why people are so averse to voice-overs. I'm pretty sure everyone was expecting the entire storyline to be voice-acted, along with ten more zones, several different means of transportation, and basically just a lot more content. And then sep 22nd happened and we all just learnt to deal. Well how do you think the ps3 players are going to feel when they get the same crap sold to them?

Acting like everything's fine is the worst approach you can take at improving something. There's a reason drill seargents call their recruits "maggots".
