Maybe they asked him and he turned it down? I completely agree that a group dedicated to the future of the series should have one of its innovators included, so there's probably a reasonable explanation for why he isn't.

Regardless of the reason, it's a travesty.

He's one of the few people left at SE that demonstrates restraint and subtlety when it comes to making games - which is the key to making epic masterpieces.

If so many people hate this game or find it boring, yet Yoshi somehow got you to still pay for a sub.....well, all i can say is he deserves any promotion SE gives him. I enjoy the game, it is far from perfect, but so long as I am having fun I am good to go.

AAA isn't determined by subjective grades either. It's based on budgets primarily.

Cool, hope he brings the series back from the dead. Honestly I only really hated 13 and all the stupid sequels they keep forcing down our throats. Im one of the few who actually liked 12, 10 was good too, and those before are considered among the best in the series.

Dont have many high hopes for 15 honestly. Looks like itll just be a minor improvement to 13. Hell, it started out as another stupid spin-off. /shrug

Anyway hope YoshiP turns things around for 16 and on.

Just want to point this out, that just because 1 person you hate is in the committee, doesn't mean everything is going to revolve around Toriyama.

In a vote stance, 2 beats 1 generally . Personally XIII was okay to me wasn't the greatest, but it was still an alright game.

So for those that are having gripes about Toriyama, you probably don't have to worry too much. Got 2 great people in the FF committee I give it a thumbs up!

They bought the game, they have every right to express their opinions. I may disagree with them, but that doesn't give me any position to tell them to shut up. I have the right to not read their posts as do you.

In general I thinks its an 'OK' game with several major flaws that I hope will be addressed eventually, but I can definitely see where some people would be disappointed with this game.
