    HM Ifrit drops

    Why does the Staff, Codex and Book drop all the time. I never see any other items drop

    Because you need the other items. If you needed the codex, it would be the one that never drops. It's a general rule of MMO's.

    I don't even see the sword though, or the Bow. I've seen the claws once only.

    Just saying the drop rates for everything is kind of lopsided.
