Items sell for cheap because the mats are sold cheap. I see potash at 20-23k and rare mining nodes sold for under 200 gil. Two weeks ago they were being sold at 45k. Aren't they still selling for 65k+ on other worlds? The cost of crafting a two star item is relatively low.

I don't buy expensive mats because I have so many friends who will give me the mats for free. There is an abundance of crafters and gatherers on this server who are actual players and will craft two star items for free if provided with the mats. They find their niche in selling other items because at this point everyone already has or can cheaply make two star hq items.

Crafting gear and crafting materia sells very well. Often there is a shortage of these items on the market so demand is quite high.
