FFXIV shutting down after freeze,when alt tab into a fullscreen game and out.

If you run ffXIV and alt tab into a different game,lik wow, tab out, ffxiv will not answer and shut down, this happens every time, and this cant be intended.
anyone else had this problem?

I don't believe Square Enix's developers have the ability yet to enable alt-tab for their online games. In FFXI you couldn't alt-tab at all without crashing the game completely. In FFXIV it's more like Russian Roulette. You have a 1 in 2 chance of the game bugging after alt-tabbing. It will usually lag more, and odd graphical glitches will pop up like chat bubbles rapidly flashing, etc.

I haven't any issues with alt tabbing. Not a single crash or graphic issue. Just a wild stab in the dark, but maybe there's something else going on behind the scenes to bug it out (bad RAM or something?).

I didn't have any trouble with alt-tabbing until the latest patch, and now if I alt-tab back while the title screen movie is going, it freezes. No problem when in game.
