Ah, but will facing north-by-northeast at 2:45 a.m. while the moon is a waning crescent result in a 27% increase in your chances to synthesize HQ mythril ingots!? That is real the question! ~Fernehalwes~

You have to wait ~5.5 more months, SE explained that all over the place for months before Early Access. Just because you didn't bother to read any of the notices about this does not mean it should be changed for you.
Failure on your part does not constitute an emergency for others.

Anybody who claims letting legacy characters onto the normal servers would "ruin the new servers economy" clearly has no idea what their servers economy looks like already. The economy is already overrun with bots/gilsellers and has already been ruined due to the lack of enforcement on SE's part. There are also already several players with all maxed crafts and there has been for weeks at this point. Claiming that adding new real players (and gil for that matter) to the economy will destroy it is just silly. I'm on the non-legacy server that I want to be on but that's only because, unlike so many others, i did catch the memo that we wouldn't be allowed to transfer so I abandoned my 1.0 character. Let's be honest, SE didn't exactly give legacy characters much of a choice and at this point legacy servers are overcrowded and a lot of people who were forced to start on a new server, due to character creation restrictions, have made lots of other friends and may not want to transfer for a single person.
LEGACY HATE THREAD GO!
They already limit the gil you can take with you when transferring. That is more than enough to counter any lingering "advantage" of a legacy player (and nowadays there really isn't one left).
you guys had plenty of time to tell your friends to create a character on your server during open beta, since you should have known by then that you wont be able to transfer to a new server for a while.
sorry, but your excuses don't fly, too bad so sad.

That be great, if SE had opened the servers last month rather then leaving them blocked
Now the friends who wanted to come to my server are torn between coming to play with us and the friends they have made in the server they had to choose. It's kind of pointless to fight about it when there was just so many shenanigans in the way. I just want people to start getting along. Legacys are not better then you, we just played the game longer. Don't hate for that, please? We don't hate you. Hell I want to -help- you! You have no idea how many DF AK's ive lost (happily teaching)because I was helping people from different servers learn the fights when others just left them. *bakes cookies and tries to get everyone to play nice*

I'm on a legacy server(not a legacy player though, my brother is) and I can definitely understand the restrictions. He is WAY ahead of me in everything it's not even funny. I'm a pretty "casual" player (a couple hours a day) , but I consider it to be a good amount. Even if you were to go with the "well you only get to transfer with 3mil" reason, how hard would it be to just buy out the expensive endgame items that sell for millions and just bring them over to the newer server. Just cause they restrict gil doesn't mean there isn't ways around it.
