Don't remember exactly what my exp bar said when I dinged 49 the first time, but I thought it was more like 579,000 so 1 million would actually be 2 levels worth almost.

I'd go Northern Thanalan. Went from 40 to 50 there. Most if not all of the fates there are 49. Just get a party and you'll hit 50 in no time there.

Rewards for Dungeons and Leves has been adjusted I believe to make them more viable vs FATE, not to mention no one learns anything about playing their class in FATE parties, you'll have a more satisfying experience if you find a group to play with and run dungeons and linked leves.

I usually prefer to play with people I know, because otherwise it can get frustrating. Not everyone does their job right.

Northern Thanalan has one of those 30min boss fates that gives you a minion if you get a gold medal too.

This is where I am stuck as well.

They need to add more quests or something. Meh.

There are a lot of quests between 39 and 41, but they do not give a lot of XPs for the time I spend on them.

where are you on your hunting log?

I always keep up with hunting logs. Hunting logs are too easy for arcanists, you should know as you are one. I usually wait until I am 5 levels over when I unlock a new rank (for example 45) and then I go finish off all mobs in the hunting log. Perhaps I should already start with some mobs.

Lvl 45, 1 million exp... that's not even enough for a level. Getting 100 allowances is like a week or more.

1 million exp is not enough for a level? are we playing the same game?

I thought lvl 45 exp for a level was around the 450-550k range...

Mor'Dhona is my favorite. Very small area, lots of FATEs.

you sure you're thinking of mor'dhona?

cause the mor dhona I went to is about twice as large as northern thanlan and the fates are so spread out its ridiculous
