Then I would do Stone Vigil a couple of times for gears and exp. It's a nice short dungeons with a few interesting battle mechanic at the end. 42-50 is a short works if you do the next 3 dungeons plus FATEs and quest. Mix it up with a few battle levee while you are at it.

I only did it once and we got wiped, because the tank didn't know what to do and he didn't have the patience to learn. Well, I am glad my friend who plays in my world is a tank. I heal in dungeons, and you can't imagine the number of times I faced tanks who don't know how to tank in dungeons..

This might sound like a strange way to level up, but I hit the same bottleneck you did, and I ended up exploring the entire world. Ran into some nasty areas that rocked my balls, but after you clear an area (like east shroud, for example) you get a pretty massive chunk of xp for full discovery as well as incremental xp for each new location within that area. I went from 43 - 44 doing nothing but jumping through the map menu and running through those areas completely.

Failing that, make sure you've done all the guildleves (nice xp as well) and dragonrend fates seems to be the flavor of the month.

lol It's always weird when I lvl up just like that when I discover a new locations. It has happened a few times. I will try that, thanks!

On a side note, they need to seriously consider tweaking (by tweaking I mean doubling) the xp rewards for quests. The effort and time investment versus FATEs is terrible.

exactly! I run around from one NPC to another like a maniac, and even do stupid things like dancing for them lol, and then what do I get from all of that ? Little XP and gil. The quests themselves should be more "interesting" and doesn't involve meaningless running around.

I'd go Northern Thanalan. Went from 40 to 50 there. Most if not all of the fates there are 49. Just get a party and you'll hit 50 in no time there.

Rewards for Dungeons and Leves has been adjusted I believe to make them more viable vs FATE, not to mention no one learns anything about playing their class in FATE parties, you'll have a more satisfying experience if you find a group to play with and run dungeons and linked leves.

Alright guys I'll let out a little secret on how to get 400k+ exp/hr using leve quests if FATE grinding isn't a viable option. LVL 45+

Instead of explaining it I'm going to link to a YouTube video where someone demonstrates how fast it is.

You basically just do the escort leve quests... ignore all mobs that spawn and keep beckoning the NPC.

NOTE: It's going to take you something like 99 leve's to gain 1M exp in 2 1/2 hours using this method. Very leve resource intensive... not recommended unless your leves are just piling up.

Lvl 45, 1 million exp... that's not even enough for a level. Getting 100 allowances is like a week or more.

Edit: Remembered total exp charts instead, I'm retarded. Still just gives you 2 levels instead at most.
