Then I would do Stone Vigil a couple of times for gears and exp. It's a nice short dungeons with a few interesting battle mechanic at the end. 42-50 is a short works if you do the next 3 dungeons plus FATEs and quest. Mix it up with a few battle levee while you are at it.

I only did it once and we got wiped, because the tank didn't know what to do and he didn't have the patience to learn. Well, I am glad my friend who plays in my world is a tank. I heal in dungeons, and you can't imagine the number of times I faced tanks who don't know how to tank in dungeons..

On a side note, they need to seriously consider tweaking (by tweaking I mean doubling) the xp rewards for quests. The effort and time investment versus FATEs is terrible.

exactly! I run around from one NPC to another like a maniac, and even do stupid things like dancing for them lol, and then what do I get from all of that ? Little XP and gil. The quests themselves should be more "interesting" and doesn't involve meaningless running around.

Rewards for Dungeons and Leves has been adjusted I believe to make them more viable vs FATE, not to mention no one learns anything about playing their class in FATE parties, you'll have a more satisfying experience if you find a group to play with and run dungeons and linked leves.

I usually prefer to play with people I know, because otherwise it can get frustrating. Not everyone does their job right.

Northern Thanalan has one of those 30min boss fates that gives you a minion if you get a gold medal too.
