Seek repair (From other players)

What happened to the function to seek repairs from other players?

Not only was this function a community building feature but also saved precious gil from being wasted in NPCs.

I am uncertain why such a magnificent feature was not re-implemented.

(The ability to offer up a reward such as dark matter to repair ones gear.) (There was also an automatic gil fee that the player who did the repairs would receive a small automatic reward, pulled from the "seekers" funds.)

Why are more crafters not Liking this? Please like this function needs to be added. How can I repair others gear? We need this function back in the game. Please.

I don't understand why this feature was removed...

I didn't even notice before today, when an adventuress spoke to me about it. When I Examine others', all their equipment is listed as:

Condition: 100%
Spiritbond: 0%

But it's not really like this. Her gear was damaged and Spiritbond higher, and so was mine. I don't know if that's a bug or it is indended, but I just can't understand why a crafter now can no longer repair other adventurers' equipment...

I have been wondering this myself... I really hope they bring it back, as I don't what to level every craft for cheap repairs.

I'd also like to see matiera requests without trading gear make their way back in.

Materia meld request is still present in the game. You just have to do it differently. Now you have to click on the crafter to request meld, then you choose your item in your inventory or armoury box, then select the materia, they will get the window pop up to meld without having to trade anything.

But yes, I totally agree that the request repair needs to be back. It is a great function and shouldn't have been removed in the first place. Now my friends will have to level up their GSM to 40 to be able to repair their own gear instead of just requesting repair from me, the sole GSM in the linkshell. We cannot take turn repairing each other's gear in front of the dungeon or in the field anymore.... This is sad and very inconvenient.
