And for a 'Hardcore Raider' like yourself, the only real thing for you in 2.1 is PVP or Extreme Primals.

2.1 will not expand the Coil past its current 5 turns. You will need to wait for 2.2 to expand the Coil.

Suppose to be 8 man raids then 24 man raids. It's going to be badass regardless of the ilvl80 gear. 2.1 we get Crystal Tower 2.2 CoB turns 5-10? 2.3 Crystal Tower more floors added so I guess you could say that CT will be like Nyzul Isle, But only more Awesome because CT is based of JP FFIII.

Golden Saucer Can't wait for that.
