Yes it is cross server, but as others have pointed out, NOT cross data-center. So JP Worlds will never group with NA/EU worlds. Not to mention the entire data-center is split into groups and the servers in those groups only DF with other servers in said groups. So, yes, it does matter.

Eh. You can group with the JP folks. Just hit the J on language option when you open duty finder. Did it once at 5 - 6 am. Got 3 JP people in AK.

Yes, because some of them got left behind on some legacy worlds and haven't been able to transfer off or don't want to due to friends. You do not group with the JP worlds.

Just group with the intention of getting experience, if you win good if not still good cause you'll have fight experience that's what i plan on doing.

In my experience, so don't take this as 100% fact, JP players on average tend to educate/learn better and indeed work together better than others. Not all mind you, just on average in my experience.

True. But I am just saying you MAY win. Not having an extra dps doesn't equal losing for this fight.

The point isn't the loss of DPS, but people being undergeared/unprepared and expecting to be carried.

There is nothing to be scared of. Failing in a video game doesn't hurt you. I have a couple friends who got lucky and df a group that knew what they were doing and won. The odds are better with an organized group who know how to work together. But to fear anything in the game is a bit unfounded.

Well, I didn't really mean actual fear. I really meant don't rule a DF group out. I thought that was obvious. :P

I can see why people would actually be afraid. The community I've seen in the game can be pretty bad.
Don't get me wrong, for every horrible person that's an ass you'll find a decent person willing to help, but sometimes it's hard to get past the assholes.
