There is ZERO excuse a $13/month MMO can't release content faster than a f2p/b2p game.

XI does patches very quickly too, basically every month unless they split a fairly large update into parts then its beginning & end or mid and early next.

I am going to have to disagree that the server issues put a delay on content release. Content developers do not work in data centers. The guys who have been working on getting the servers up and tuned are not the same guys who are working on game content. There is no reason server stability / capacity increases should make any difference on when content development and QA teams complete their work. That would be like saying newspaper writers had to stop working because newspaper stands could not hold enough newspapers to meet the demand of the public.

Considering they have to patch the Lightning Fate in before Nov 14 when it comes out and have all the items that it drops in the game, you would think 2.1 has to be before Nov. 14.

Just wait till the ultimate troll where the Fate is patched in by itself, where they put their little baby Lightning before keeping their mmo alive.

its been planned for mid november since beta phase 4, since we havent heard anything else, it most likely havent changed either.

Good thing sub based MMOs guarantee a steady flow of updates, meaning you don't have to wait almost 4 months for new content.

Oh wait.

Well Im still waitiing on the Dragon quest sorcerers stone events etc.. Havent seen them yet. I really hope they pull off the 2.1 patch by beginning of NOV or mid NOV at latest and I cant wait for the Lightning Cross Over I hope that gear is worth the wait.. Especially the spell caster stuff.

All I know is I won't be playing if it doesn't come in november or very early december maybe.

If your 30-40 days into a sub and your running out of content because you chose one class and your focus is only raiding/endgame then you will now and always jump MMO to MMO. Only a sandbox MMO may keep you content, but ultimately I think these kinds of players will always get to this point.. hate/rage quit then accept its time for the next "big thing".
