Chat Window Size and transparency

Since the last update, my chat window has increased in size and is no longer in the background where it used to be. The new window now covers a 3rd of TV screen, PS3 user, and i can no longer see the party list or the world in general behind the chat window. Has anyone else has this issue?

Ive had chat log get bigger on its own before. Just put ur ps3 game pad in mouse mode. (Hold Down L1 and Press the Right Stick Button to enter the*PS3 controller Mouse-mode) then click it over to the corner of chat log and pull it down smaller like how you'd do it on a pc. Then exit mouse mode.

As for the transparency I havent had that prob.

A lot of people were having issues with the excessive transparency of the chat window causing text to become nearly illegible on certain backgrounds (I know I suffered that at times, myself). Instead of giving us an adjustment to fix it to how we might like it, they just made it less transparent for everyone, fixing the problem in a way that only caused other problems, which is how SE likes to 'solve' problems it would seem.
