FF14 slows down entire computer when Alt+Tabbed

The latest patch seems to cause my entire computer to slow down when I Alt+Tab FF14 whilst playing in windowed mode. I've tested full-screen mode as well and still the same thing. Capping the refresh rate to 60 also does nothing. Anyone else has this issue?

I think it may be happening to me too. I have noticed that my mouse slows down significantly both in and out of the game, but when I alt-tab a few times it seems to be fine. I play in full screen.

Found 2 ways to stop it. First option would be to ctrl+alt+del to bring up the task manager, after that windows seems to be able to smoothen out. Second option would to simply reboot my entire PC....

I have that too since the last patch. Is anyone having this problem also using the Raptr desktop app ? Cause it had an update which coincided with the game patch, so that could also be causing this problems.

You may want to check the option to limit frame rate while window is inactive. It should drop the FPS to about 10 or so.

If you have raptr installed>Exit FF>Close Raptr>Load FF again, does the problem still exist?
