Unable to complete version check

Just got this error not sure,if anyone else got this message? Also this was right after I paid for the next month. I feel that even during the trial, I had a lot of problems with server connections, and it wasn't me, it was SE cutting off the servers every few days. And I wish this was just a free to play since their our so many problems with this game.

I also hate the fact, that it was working fine, until I was forced off since I had to pay, paid the guys and now won't let me sign on lol. It seems like their quick to take your money, but not so quick into fixing problems like gold farming spams and other hacks that make the game seem unfair to others.

I have had the same issue since the 9th of the month, same thing happpened my trial ended i paid for it and then i got the same error Unable to complete verison check. It doesn't look like Square Enix is any hurry to fix the problem, which sucks since i enjoy playing the game.

lol at least I'm not the only one, in any case they need to fix this thing asap. I'm going to download their client from their site and see if that will work.

ok did that but still nothing, my friend can connect no problem. I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, but nothing. My friends version is 2013.11, mine is version 2013.09. So I'm on the wrong version and even when I got his files to put on my computer it still didn't work. Like before I would just use someones boot files, but that's not working now. All files also have read only checked off It's just sad how SE doesn't want to help and just have a buggy game. Their good at rpgs not MMOS. I wonder whats the difference between FFXIV AND ARR? Nothing. Well if this is not fixed I guess it's time to get a refund.
