(PS3) Crossbar set switching by itself randomly after using skills

Steps:
1. Disabled the Use Pet Crossbar option.
2. Using skills on Set 2 of my crossbar causes it to instantly jump from Set 2 to Set 1.

Even though there is a Set 3 on my crossbar selection, it skips that set completely and only does so about 25% of the time. It does this for both default skill buttons and user-macro buttons very randomly, and disrupts fighting causing me to stumble through crossbar sets.

Should also note this never occurs with Set 1 skills, it is only when using a button on Set 2. I only use the crossbar with a PS3 controller, so its not a keyboard issue.
