Thread: I'm planning to host one every month up until the release of 2.1

I disagree here. There is quite a bit to do. You have the option of leveling up multiple classes, gearing them out, running coil which has yet to be beaten by anyone in the world (granted it is bugged atm), helping your friends, crafting, building your wealth and mastering multiple jobs (after leveling and gearing them). Granted, I'd love to see some new content, but the game just came out not too long ago. They still have a lot to fix before they can release a huge content patch.

My only concern here is that if it's too far out, late dec. or further out, what will be the point of Crystal Tower? I get that not -EVERYONE- is running with relics and ready for the coil yet, but a good chunk will be. I fear if too much time goes by they're going to feed us a piece of content that turns out be completely irrelivant.

This I do agree with. I really don't like the route they took here. You're absolutely right, when Crystal Tower does come out; due to mass quantities of people being over geared, the content will be trivial and there just to clear, while people continue to gear up in Coil.

I am guessing people will use Crystal Tower to gear up their other 8 jobs the ones they don't gear with Mythology and Coil drops.

2.1 December. Live Letters in Oct/Nov/Dec.

Yoshi already said 2.1 before xmas. Nothing in the letter suggests a delay.

Many people waited to resub or just plain left till this patch hits. I'm not saying good or bad just putting it out there. Maybe if they don't add anymore content and focus on fixing the server congestion glitches and errors that are plaguing this server system then they can get back to releasing 2.1 patch. That's not to say I want to wait. Just part of the bus I suppose.

Speaking as a 1.0 player, even if I haven't completely maxed out all of my jobs the idea of waiting for late December is a very long wait. I happen to love what they've done for the most part with 2.0 but I can easily see even fans of the game(including myself) running out of patience waiting for all the things 2.1 is supposed to offer. Hopefully they can at least offer it piecemeal even if they can't unload the entire thing for us in full in the next month or so.
