Please add incentive for spiritbinding non- convertible gear

The spiritbind tool is nice for convertible items, but I personally feel that it is lacking usefulness elsewhere.

My suggestion: Add a passive incentive for spiritbinding gear.

I agree that a stat boost could be imbalancing, so rather than that...

How about a durability boost for 100% spiritbound equipment?

Or you can turn them in to your GC for points when you are done with them.
These equips are usually rare and can be submitted.

True, but they don't require spirit bond to be submitted.

I like the idea of durability enhancements, or slight buffs. Nothing extreme, but something to pay off the effort.

That only applies to pinks and some greens (heroes excluded), and these almost always are convertible, which means it is irrelevant to the OP request.

What about non-convertible gear (like blues and purples)? They are a lot of trouble to SB seeing that they are often high ilvl, and if an idea like this isn't utilized, the SB % provides no mechanic whatsoever.

A durability boost for blue SB items? My hammers and I are completely on board with this.

Unfortunately, I think we should skip the durability boost. We have to remember that repairing is a gil-sink. There are other things for gil sinks too but I can assume repairing is probably one of the biggest gil-sinks atm, especially since it costs quite a bit to repair and everyone has to repair at some time or another.

I do agree with some minor buffs. Especially since SE likes to do percentage buffs with a cap we could easily put in minor buffs without getting things too out of hand I would say. Then again, a 1 stat difference in materia has a difference of a 5 digit value to a 6 digit value.
