Until people learn that it is against TOS to be abusive to fellow players for any reason... even for using the content the way it was designed to be used, unfortunately content that is a magnet for abuse will likely be changed to accommodate a more civil play environment. Go figure, when it probably takes more effort and time to be verbally abusive than it does to communicate the same message politely.

I mean, people can get abusive about anything. Does that mean we shouldn't have raids, shouldn't have 5 mans, shouldn't have a game at all because some jerk decides to be a social-malcontent on the internet? Um, no? It means that if that jerk decides to be a social-malcontent, they suffer consequences for it. You don't punish everyone else who did nothing wrong by making their lives more difficult. If, as a developer, I have the choice between fixing a problem at its source, or devoting numerous man hours of support to policing children on the internet, I choose the first option, every single time.

I levelled to 50 doing DD as it is now, before people realized it could be abused, and there was never any drama in that zone. When I spent time there after, getting MIN to 50, every time it came up, there was all kinds of tears and threats of blacklistings and reporting for harassment. They did the right thing imho.

Yes, it would make a lot more sense to punish the abusive. The entire community had a chance to do so and didn't. Instead, they stand idly by and let the abuse continue. While I get where you're coming from, SE isn't going to enforce that on people most likely. It's up to us. Perhaps this incident will serve as a warning: Let the abusers abuse and you'll lose out on the benefits also.

Please go back and re-read my post! I don't care about the exp at all, the area has died and no one is around. I enjoy meeting new people even if it is on the internet.

What happend with DD? I played it jesterday? My Server is Full of PÜeople in Norther Thanalan and You get shitton of XP from DD just like befor. Well the Spawn point changed and everyone is standing on the Hpouse now but it still gives fucking much XP lol.
Don't get what could be wrong with it?

bluefog is still a solid source of XP, i can't imagine people wanting to skip it just because it's not AS good as it used ot be.

Some people are so selfish they think their entitlement to 250 seals trumps that of the 199 other people trying to level just a little bit faster. Or they think they're the self appointed judge of what's an exploit and what isn't, so therefore no one should have experience. Stupid, really.
