I was actually wondering if anyone else does this is any fight?
It seems to give the group more time for people to get in position especially in coil.
Ive made my group wait till i get a crit shield sometime.
Your opinions?

I SS and Aldo the tank and succor everyone else. Then EforE the Tank. This gives everyone a little breather relax time at the start it also gives the tank some time to start his rotation before you have to start healing him. Keep it up you are playing the correct way.

Thanks for the input!
I'll definitely pre-shield before a fight, it's not much if it doesn't crit, but added up with stoneskin it is great. Also Succor right before AoE damage.
I always do a SS on me and the tank before a fight, but you need to be careful, if you're casting then the tank pulls, you get all the aggro.
You should try to shield upcoming damage. And you know what´s happening upon a pull. With some fastpulling tanks you might not have the time but with those you usually are fine w/o preshielding prefight.
I usually protect/ss then succor then aldo on tank. And then I usually just spam aldo on tank for crit until he pulls. Hopefully I don't have to recast succor again because he decides to take forever. Mana isn't really a problem. Really you just need to be ready to interrupt your spell in case he pulls while your casting.
Doing it similar but ald the tank first and suc the group afterwards course the tank will use up his shield first and the suc might need the duration. I dont recast till crit though.I usually protect/ss then succor then aldo on tank. And then I usually just spam aldo on tank for crit until he pulls. Every single pull. It gives you two to three seconds to start a fight where the tank's gaining aggro where you don't even need to worry about pulling away from him by accident - they're covered.

Yup, every time, SS and Adloq before a pull. If it's a boss pull, i'll try a few times for a crit heal.
Having a Crit Adloq + WHM SS on a tank before a boss pull is almost an extra 50% of their HP reduced. This gives plenty of time for them to establish their threat rotation before any heals are needed. I usually also initiate with a sacred soil, Aetherflow is already off cooldown, so no point sitting on those 3 charges early...
