Free Company Ranks - New people being given higher ranks

Hi thar,

I have 11 Ranks in my FC. Whenever I invite someone new, they ALWAYS show up as Rank 8 or 9 instead of the lowest rank, which would be 11.
It doesn't seem to matter if I reduce the ranks either. They always show up somewhere in the middle. This is not good because that gives new players I may not trust yet, access to the FC chest. And because of it I have now had to restrict the chest for Rank 8, which is unfair to everyone else.

This happens everytime so I dont know if this was intended or just a bug that has gone unfixed for so long, but I would really like it if you could make new members ALWAYS be accepted into the lowest rank.

I think the system defaults new recruits to what starts out as the lowest setting. Rather than making settings below that one, you should treat it as the lowest and have the others above that one. This will require you to go in and retool permissions and promote/demote potentially dozens of people, but this is kinda the corner you've painted yourself into.
