Debuff placement bug or ninja fix?

I'm finding this frustrating as well, especially when it comes to diseases in AK. The debuffs aren't showing up on the group window, and I have to hope with any effects going around that I spot the spell (luckily for the first boss it looks a lot like eye for an eye, and for last boss it's an obvious breath with a cast time). When I have someone clicked it's also usually near the end of their buffs.

I have however noticed that the debuff from the granite gaols (spelling) on titan do at least stay near the front of the buffs.

Disease and other "Healing Down" style effects have never sorted properly as a debuff.

Seriously, they are characters, not toons. With WoW's graphics "toon" is acceptable. Final Fantasy has such awesome graphics that if I were the dev team I would ban people for the use of the word "toon." Toon is short for Cartoon and our characters do not look like Tom nor Jerry.

On topic. I have noticed this too and I don't like it. I keep missing the wind and ice debuff/DoT on Stone Vigil.

This was my point exactly. I simply feel that toon is a word that means nothing, throw aways, lifeless puppets and an overall joke. Ffxiv and ffxi has had me on them for the huge reason of having a believable world with a feeling of life in its story, world, characters and art style. Saying toon just gives me the image of a crappy character model and you got 5 of them kuz they mean nothing.

On topic though, I have not experienced this yet because I haven't been able to play. But since I play exclusively whm and smn I'll see how the new sorting affects my performance playing those jobs

Actually your character does look a bit like Tom. There are tons of toons behaving like Coyotee and the lalafels definitly move like teletubbies.
edit Wedge´s hair even makes him look like one. And die I mention the playable pokemontrainer yet?

The new sorting keeps scrolling debuffs off of the party frames for my tanks. -_- It's driving me bonkers.

I've noticed this as well. It hasn't been game-breaking for me yet, but it is annoying. Memorizing your group's buffs is about all you can do. Not much you can do if there's too many effects and the bad one isn't displayed, though.

To be fair... Tom, Jerry and Donald Duck have been around since like the 50's or 60's. Animation has been VASTLY improved since then (not that you could tell if you happen to be watching South Park). Animated characters are cartoons, regardless of how well drawn they are. Using "toons" seems weird to me, but not inaccurate.
