Debuff placement bug or ninja fix?

Ran cutter's cry last night to complete gc hunt, and noticed debuffs no longer show up to the left of protect anymore. What's even worse is that if someone has 6 pluss buffs you might not even notice the downward buff ie poison/sludge. It is a good thing I like to swing my camera around to look at shines ... Errr other things going on around me. Since that allows me to notice when other toons take dot damage.
On a completely off topic note. I am loving the fact that I now have enough spell speed to cast esuna on the move.
Tldr Debuffs no longer to left of protect. Then I brag about fast casting of esuna.

In one of the updates they mentioned buff priority being an issue that is on review for 2.1. I'm having issues finding it at the moment, anyone kind enough to help me find it?

The term toon has been used for a long time and you full well know what it means.

Seriously, they are characters, not toons. With WoW's graphics "toon" is acceptable. Final Fantasy has such awesome graphics that if I were the dev team I would ban people for the use of the word "toon." Toon is short for Cartoon and our characters do not look like Tom nor Jerry.

On topic. I have noticed this too and I don't like it. I keep missing the wind and ice debuff/DoT on Stone Vigil.

This was my point exactly. I simply feel that toon is a word that means nothing, throw aways, lifeless puppets and an overall joke. Ffxiv and ffxi has had me on them for the huge reason of having a believable world with a feeling of life in its story, world, characters and art style. Saying toon just gives me the image of a crappy character model and you got 5 of them kuz they mean nothing.

On topic though, I have not experienced this yet because I haven't been able to play. But since I play exclusively whm and smn I'll see how the new sorting affects my performance playing those jobs

Actually your character does look a bit like Tom. There are tons of toons behaving like Coyotee and the lalafels definitly move like teletubbies.
edit Wedge´s hair even makes him look like one. And die I mention the playable pokemontrainer yet?

I've noticed this as well. It hasn't been game-breaking for me yet, but it is annoying. Memorizing your group's buffs is about all you can do. Not much you can do if there's too many effects and the bad one isn't displayed, though.

To be fair... Tom, Jerry and Donald Duck have been around since like the 50's or 60's. Animation has been VASTLY improved since then (not that you could tell if you happen to be watching South Park). Animated characters are cartoons, regardless of how well drawn they are. Using "toons" seems weird to me, but not inaccurate.

Had to do this post twice since iPhone lost the 1st one, but pre 2.0.5 common debuffs ie if bad breath has it, would show up to the left of protect on part frames.

Lol wow not even that big of a deal. I'm just tired of people calling it toons kuz that's not what it is. People don't realize what game their playing. Maybe that works in WoW but that was never said in this community until the mass migration.
I like how you make it personal like all cat people are bad and you regret making a joke about them or something, just because that's my character lol.
