It shows as two separate exp gains in the chat log, and not once have I ever seen it anywhere near as low as 25%. 70-80% of what I was getting, sure. 25%? Yeah no, not even close.

Im sorry but man i reached mine sometime last month. Ill post a link once i figure out how...I didnt even know this was a big thing lol i like solo play wasnt paying much attention. Good job though congrats.

After many grueling hours of grinding bluefog doblyns, I've finally made it. If you have reached this achievement before me (10/16 at 2:30pm EST), then please link your lodestone. I am curious if this is a server first, or... world first.!

My plan is to level mine as tank the whole way. Yes it sure cant hold threat worth a damn. But this is early in the game. By the time i level it all the way to max... which will be a freakin long time no doubt... the threat generation will likely to have been fixed.

We are talking MONTHS from now, as its taken me a whole month to get to just level 4.

Oh and if you wanted to be first, there is apparently a much faster method. It involves the FATE Dark Devices in Northern Thanalan. Apparrently you can gain half a Chocobo level per Dark Devices FATE.

BUT! - And this is the reason why i have never done it - you must have a full group which includes your Chocobo, meaning you must be the party leader AND - here is the kicker - your group must be OK with a slot being taken up by your Chocobo. I have never done this as i think it would not be fair to the other group members to sacrifice a party slot for a pet.

They nerfed this. You get just the first wave now, and then no more.

This was because people were killing lambs (and ruining the exp of hundreds of people), so when somebody spoke up and hurt their e-feelings, they cried for nerfs. It was one of those "one person ruined things for everyone" type deals.
