The name is random each time, you can't go by name.
@ OP
dont listen to all ppl outthere that OT has to grab red line add...
MT just grabs always chirada and OT just grabs suprana
problem solved
most ppl say im crazy blabla
its the best tactic anyway
Hell I'm not color blind and I still missed it my first run.
Oh thank God!
This reminds me of the time when I played Chivalry, I attacked trees and people laughed at me, I thought they were masons.![]()
I'm one of the rarest types of colorblind, tritanopia (and I'm female, puts me in 0.03% of the population) which means I can't see green and yellow. Luckily for me it means the lines are red/pinkish and blue.
The reason Red/Green colorblindness and even total colorblindness don't work well with game systems is because the two colors typically have the same values. Take away color, and the two lines appear the same. This is how people with RG colorblindess see it. If the Green line is changed to Blue, the value of the line lightens, making the two lines much more distinct even with total colorblindness. This isn't a minor issue, but the proportion of the human population with even partial to total colorblindness is less than 10%, such that the impact of a change for such a small segment seems non-viable. I am not familiar with statistics on gamers with partial to total colorblindness, but it is enough that many large gaming franchises DO incorporate such features, that they recognize the problems.I know a lot of modern games have started to include a color blind mode. Alternatively, SE could just do what the government has done with traffic lights. Make "green" a bluish green teal and "red" a yellowish red orange. Teal/Orange would look cooler anyway ;P But yeah, other than that like many others have already said, a lot of parties now prefer to burn down the closest sister regardless of color. It's a really good point to raise for future content development though.
Which is odd. Sexism is more rampant in gaming than colorblind-safe features, but that may also be due to the fact that colorblindness is much, MUCH more common in males than females, so the impact of male to female players is more felt. Only recent accommodation to female gamers stresses any concern.
i agree that they should have a colour blind mode and stuff but, don't the adds have names?Development staff, I have an issue with fighting Garuda on hard mode. I know I'm not the only one but when it comes to Garuda's sisters, I can't tell between which one is red and which one is green. Like many games, they add a "colorblind" mode that changes colors to red and blue instead. It's one reason why I can't tank for Garuda.
Hopefully this will not stop with Garuda, as reported before the game launched there is an issue with colour blind people and the circular map markers not being visible on the main map. My friend cant play the game because of it as he couldn't identify where he had to go to complete quests. A colour blind mode is desperately needed to address all these issues.

The sisters have names. (Supra and Chindra?)
Those who can see where the line is, can simply shout out the name.
Then the off tank can look for the name, and target the corresponding sister.
It is not at all hard to do this, just have to go in a party where there is at least one person who can remain calm enough to say this... Or go with LS ^^
I always thought it's downright bizarre that the two adds have unique name but the ability they have is random. It'd be like if sometimes Satin Plume is really a Razor Plume. It's hardly gamebreaking but it's just something you shouldn't do.
