I'm sure that if you'll communicate with your party and explain that you can't tell the colors, someone will volunteer to mark them. I don't think SE should ignore this, but until they do fix, might want to ask the party for help. That's what means to teamwork ( ' w '-

I vote colorblind mode
I think it's only fair
But in the mean time, either someone mark for you, or try to MT it instead, perhaps.
I know PUG groups will have rude players...
Agree to color blind mode, the problem is not only limited to Garuda, in future they might design another boss that do require player to tell red/green right away or they die :'(

Just add in a color blind mode. That solves the problem for current content and instantly makes it a non-issue for any future content.
Greetings,
We understand that not being able to play due to these conditions is problematic and we plan on addressing this issue. The development team is currently looking into measures for the Garuda battle so that everyone can play comfortably.

That's good news. I'm among the rarest of "color challegened" people seeing only black and white. By the way, that dragon's breath in SV when it is flying is a nightmare for me to see on the ground. Luckily you can see her in the air, though.

Hell I'm not color blind and I still missed it my first run.
Hopefully this will not stop with Garuda, as reported before the game launched there is an issue with colour blind people and the circular map markers not being visible on the main map. My friend cant play the game because of it as he couldn't identify where he had to go to complete quests. A colour blind mode is desperately needed to address all these issues.

Even as a non color blind person I have issues with the same part of the fight. It's way easier to see teh red one than the green one and sometimes one of the lines doesn't even appear on my screen. I don't even look for the green one any more and just try to find the red one so I know what to do.
Instead of a line, it should be an aura or the whole mob should be red/green. It would be way easier to tell them apart. There should also be a color blind setting.
