question:

if ruin II had 101-106 potency instead of 80, will it be better to use ruin II instead of ruin I?

because if you include book attacks + instant cast spell = it does more damage than ruin I.

The mana drain is just too severe.

SMN already run out of mana primarily because of Thunder being incredibly inefficient, and Ruin II being twice the cost of Ruin is pretty awful.
