


Well we've got 2 Major patches planned within the next 4 months and it'll have to probably wait until 2.2 so it doesn't make MNK/DRG broken in PVP...It is well known already that DRG and MNK are at a disadvantage Risk vs. Reward -wise in combat and it can be argued that they consistently put out lower DPS than other DPS jobs in many boss fights due to boss-centered AoE abilities which force melee out of prime dps range. I would expect to see some buffs to melee DPS in the future. However, SE is currently putting out larger fires than minor balance issues. See: End-game content, DF Load, RMT, hacks, various bugs/exploits, etc.
Yes, there are balance issues, no, they are not major/game-breaking, yes, other, more important stuff will take priority for now. You can expect melee DPS to get balanced, but don't hold your breath... it may be a couple months.
2.2 is currently planned for February (likely 22nd when the PS4 beta starts)
