    Except the DRK is a dark knight and not a death knight. There is a difference. DRK is closer to a blood mage and scythe wouldn't match the mythos at all. The only reason why people want it to be a scythe is XI made DRK use a scythe. 2H sword would be cool. 1h sword would be cool too but not as cool. scythe would be stupid.

    The FFXI scythes were cool. Some of the axes that MRD use while leveling up look like war scythes anyhow. So it's not a huge leap to allow MRD to use them. Maybe add some more exaggerated scythes that are DRK only.
