World Transfers, 3 day cooldown

Intentional? i thought we were able to transfer as much as we could, i understand about lessening the usage since it was just opened but isn't this a bit much?

I imagine it's a cooldown or a never ending request of transfers making wait times unbearable.

Sorry, but if a 3 day cooldown is too long for you, it isn't the service there is something wrong with.

You are misunderstanding something; they're doing it for a name change. However, it appears also to prevent moving multiple characters around rapidly, too. Over the extended launch debacle, it is easy to imagine people with multiple characters spread about servers. It's consolidation time.

I think the OP is suggesting that they'd like to server hop more often than just once every three days.

Poster above answered my why. I'd rather not hear someone complain that it's going to take them three days to change their character's name; I'd actually petition for longer.

i tout i had read somewhere it would be 30 days cooldown to prevent people from abusing it.
