Logitech G930 & FFXIV:ARR

Greetings all! This is a question for any headset users but more specifically for those using the Logitech G930.

With the G930 I've noticed that certain ambient sounds are hard-panned to my right ear! Waterfalls, crowd sounds in cities/markets, and the humming of aetheryte crystals even! This has lead me to turn down the ambient sounds altogether =(.

Anyone else with headsets having this issue? I would really like to know if maybe this is just common with the G930. It works fine in other games. Tried messing with the Gaming Software settings to no avail. I've tried restarting the game and my computer multiple times and while turning the 7.1 audio ON fixes the issue - it makes all sounds have a tinny effect (like high reverb). Anywho, any help is appreciated!

Could be that some of that favors the right side channels so it really stands out.. I ended up replacing my G930 with a G430 due to some other issues I was having (oh you want to use a USB3 port?? hahaha) and I use the surround feature without any noticeable audio degradation.
