Post here the problems your are having with the transfer system.

There have been some updates to the system so we can finally see more than just one server, however there are some big issues with the transfer system. Noteably the reason for free transfers is the creation problem and people not being able to play with friends. due to problems continueing, players are unable to change to particular servers with their friends and some servers are simply locked for transfer even though you can create a character there.

- system is not updating for transfer when creation is possible.
- system limits funds for transfer but still locks legacy on legacy servers
- legacy people are left to only 1 option world to move to
- system does not update immedietly so a world may have 1 spot but 100 requests
- system should allow open transfer to any world if gil restriction in place

The main trend in comments currently is the failure of the system updating when creation is possible so you can make for instance a new toon on a server but the transfer system wont allow you to transfer. this is very upsetting to many and needs to be addressed asap.

Another listed above that i found on threads was the limitation on transfer funds. i spoke to phone support yesterday on that and they agree it is somewhat silly and there to help world from being ruined economically. however players on new worlds have on average 3-4 level 50 toons now due to over simplified leveling methods. this means that there is no reason to limit transfer from legacy to non legacy, especially with gil restrictions in place. It breaks the rules of allowing people to finally move and play with friends as they wanted.

People are requesting transfers but in email denied due to world being over filled. this can be handled by a quicker system update procedure for checking world population when refreshing the page for world transfer requests. have it update every minute instead of every 3-4 hours. this will save from the pissed off customers rage quitting the game due to once again piss poor planning. (sorry its true,,,mistakes were made again)

The best part is some of my friends had not subscribed until yesterday because they saw no point in playing without our LS. So they go and pay the subscription fee only to not be able to transfer to Hyperion.

Yesterday i transfered from Balmung to Ragnarok. When i tried to log in, one message said that i had to change my name because it was already in use. I had to change from "Merle Valentine" to "Merle Nyalentine". If you search "Merle Valentine" on lodestone profiles you won't find anything on any server. So... why i had to change? ><

Character was created but not logged in apparently. I recall seeing this posted elsewhere.

FWIW I tried to transfer last night around midnight eastern, no dice. Kept getting the "No characters available for transfer." statement.
Tried again at 7am eastern ... click click boom ... 6 minutes later, the character is on the destination world and ready to play.

Whereas it's not a solution, half the issue is the sheer number of people trying to utilize the service. Sure WoW can do it in minutes now, but they don't have thousands of people trying to move at once nowadays, when they did, it too was congested and problematic.

lol.... okay so apparently I had a ton of stuff from the calamity salvager that I needed to pick up. I thought I lost my gobbue mount but it was with him the whole time! Once I cleared that fiasco up, I was able to transfer to Hyperion. Damn, I got lucky lol.

I'm still having that problem where I have the server I want to go to, but I keep getting stopped cause I don't meet the transfer requirements when I am very sure I do meet them. It's very annoying.
