Greetings, all!
Bayohne here, excited to offer another peek at upcoming content from patch 2.1!

NYCC attendees were able to visit the Intel Extreme Masters area where they could earn prizes by challenging FATEs! The team at NYCC also held a special presentation on Sunday where they discussed a few points about the upcoming PvP content that will be introduced in patch 2.1.

During the presentation, we revealed a new video that takes a look at the PvP coming soon to Eorzea! Take a look!
What do you think? Personally, I can't wait to beat up my friends!

So what do you all think ? I think its a bit bright like fireworks display bright.. and that can be adjusted in config so no biggy.. but otherwise I am eager to see how this works out. This coming from someone who does not normally like PVP/Arena I hope they allow for live watching so we do not have to wait for people's youtube posts or livestreams.

Sleep will be disabled, during Phase 4 DAM it was over-powered.

Me and a friend duo'd BLM/WHM and pretty much trashed every single match bar one or two (where the other team did the same thing) and over-powered us.

I might try it a couple times, but generally I'm not a huge fan of the no-frills attack-everyone-and-that's-it style of PVP. I tend to prefer PVP that has a purpose or mission to it, like Ballista from FFXI or even Huttball from SWTOR.

Exactly my thoughts, but didn't the devs{maybe a user speculation thread} mention something about special vanity items and a mount you can earn through PvP?

If so then I'll have to suffer through it enough to earn those, primarily the mount!
