all na eu servers available for char creation BUT

why can we still not transfer to them? i thought the requirement to xfer to a server was that is was allowed for char to be made on that server. but the past 5 or so hours we could create characters on all eu and na servers. But still some servers are not showing up in transfer list?

i understand that, but why can we still make brand new characters on thus servers that are supposedly full? kind of stupid if u ask me. lets open new charcters to be made on full servers. bcuz if we cant transfer to a server it is supposedly full right. so why allow it to be more full if ppl make brand new chars.

The problem here is that by SE's own rules:

* Characters cannot be transferred to a World which has already reached the limit for character creation.

Character creation is currently open on Excalibur (verified by logging into the game and using the Character Creation tool up until where you can choose the server, Excalibur is definitely an option). Therefore by SE's own rules, transfers should also be possible at this time.

As an aside, if SE has decided to close a world or two to transfers it would be nice if they could let us know. I spent the better part of the day yesterday refreshing the transfer page periodically and I'd like to know if I should just give up the whole thing or if this is somehow a bug in the app (world not showing up for transfer when clearly it's open to new characters).

Still trying to transfer to Moogle which is OPEN for NEW characters. So SE is breaking their own rule "* Characters cannot be transferred to a World which has already reached the limit for character creation.", I guess.

Fine by me, but if it opens up when I have to pay money, may I be very pissed about it then?

exactly my point, past 5 hours ive been refreshing the xfer list for hoping hyperion to open up and i made a char on hyperion as well and thought well this is no bueno. We can make chars on servers but we cannot transfer to them. So just some info is all we would like, it can't be that hard to so sorry people their is a problem with xfering to so and so servers or something.

i am all fine and dandy with their being problems with xfering, but to break your own rules you have stated without telling us the problems that is causing it, is pretty shady work if you ask me.

i have been trying since transfers started to get from hyperion to excalibur... the creation is possible as i tested it, but transfers not open is reallly pissing me off. i have been waiting since beta to get there with friends.

then why is it locked as legacy only being allowed on legacy servers.... not even legacy accounts but anyone who touches the server?

my non legacy account has more gil than my legacy haha....well my daughters does because she farms a lot
