So I have ran Ifrit close to 80 times with not a single drop of my weapon. I ran Garuda my first time and the sword dropped for me. I know it's all random numbers but seriously, what the heck?

Not to mention Garuda went down super fast compared to Ifrit who has phases that take forever and people never seem to know their particular job. I know I should not complain. But I kinda feel jipped. I went from iLvl 55 to 70 in one shot.

I ran ifrit 50 times successfully and never saw the pally weapon drop. The summoner weapon, on the other hand, dropped 26 times.

I have not seen an Ifrit weapon drop and it has been about 200 runs.
The worst part is no one is running Chimera...so I am pretty screwed.

Took me 15 tries to get my Ifrit Blade (saw 2 dropped in this time frame). Took me about 30 tries to get my Garuda's Gaze (the first that dropped, and I was lucky enough the other PLD in my team was using Relic weapon, so he didn't need it)

Perhaps I'm just a lucky soul...

I got the Ifrit Blade on my 3rd run. That being said I killed Garuda today for the 19th time and lost the sword to a curtana PLD, no joke. "Sorry man, I've been here a like 50 times and I've always wanted that". Translation, 'sorry man, I've a raging dickead".

hey man, they've done the work too. you're the dick for assuming you should get it no matter what. i could understand in a pre-made fc group, but a df group, especially if he doesn't need to be there except to get the weapon, what did you expect?

Yea, it took me about 50ish tries before I got one. It was the 2nd run that dropped, and despite the fact that only 4 of my kills were War+War teams, the first time it dropped (after about 30 tries) it was in a War+War party :/

Dunno about Garuda yet, only ran it about 5 times so far so we'll see.

I will say that I have seen a LOT of blm, smn and brd weapons and not many tank weapons (0 ifrit blades). I wonder if they skew the drop rates to the % of players that are playing that class.

I got Ifrit's Blade on my first ever HM Ifrit. Sorry! Haha.

That being said I'm still on Hydra after 2 horrible PUGs for it with only 1 other FC member. Hoping to do it tonight.
