Getting a little tired of all the D-Bags you find at end-game. Being horrible to one person or even the whole party. Being obnoxious and blaming everyone. And just generally being unhelpful and irritating.

If you know what you are doing offer your guidance. If you don't have the patience and don't think the party is going somewhere leave, don't just flame people. Everyone has to learn at some point.

I took 4 new end-gamers through Garuda yesterday and we got it in 4 tries cos everyone helped out and was nice/patient with eachother.

No, you made an uncessarely rude and dumb comment and now are trying to pretendo that was just "teasing" and turnning it against the person that received the rude and dumb comment. You should have followed the OP's advice, if you can't have any nice to say (and here I will add "smart" too), better not say anything at all.

Now on topic. Make this a better community is everybody's job. If you see people misbehaving, punish them for that. Let them know that kind of behavior are not welcome.

The problem is that everybody seems to prefer to join the aggressor than improve the situation. All this stuff of "i used to be nice, but people keep trolling so I troll too now" only show how weak most players are.

Yesterday 3 people of my LS did Aurum Vale for first time with a random tank via DF.

Tank explained patiently the boss mechanics for all 3 bosses and we made them all without a wipe.

Was that with BLM(s)? I spent probably 20 hours trying to take Duty Finder groups through that dungeon even with a few groups that had a BLM before I finally switched to BLM myself and waited hours in queues until finally getting another group with a decent BLM. In all honesty though, the run that I finally won on was with all first timers, excluding myself of course.

I carried a Bard with jewellery no higher than level 18 through AK, it was a nightmare. At the end my party and I kindly recommended some inexpensive methods of getting some upgrades as he would eventually run into a foul-mouthed elitist at some point that may offend him.

What was our politeness met with? Rabid-fueled rage.

@OP Not every person is out to offend another, some people may in fact be waiting for a chance to snap back over petty things. It's a two way street and sadly it's just one of those things we have to get used to. I'm not going to stop offering advice to people, maybe one day I'll meet someone who accepts it for what it is and doesn't take it as a personal attack.
