:Cleaning out the Dead - Quest Bugged

In Central Coerthas at Whitebrim Front, I picked up the Quest "Cleaning out the Dead". The very first objective is "Search the body for personal items." In the jail cells area, below the quest giver, there is a body on the ground labeled Heretic Corpse that sparkles like an interactive object. When I click on it, the game seems like it is about to perform an action, much like when you interact with a "destination" in other quests, but then just stops without showing a progress bar. I have seen other players confused and standing around, unable to interact as well. Because of this I cannot complete the objective and move on to the next objective.

I play on PC on Coeurl (NA).

I'm encountering the exact same thing.

Had similar thing happen to a follow up quest, sometims youneed to go away until you cant see it anymore and go back, try it again, some made it work with zoning
Maybe this were coincidences, but might be worth a try

I've tried dropping the quest and picking it back up, going to different zones and coming back later, logging out and back in.... nothing has resolved the issue. Thanks for the suggestions, though. I mostly just wanted to report this.
