Looking for some hotbar / keybind / macro help lol

Hey guys! I am trying to clean up my hotbars and get some macro's going. I'm a scholar and trying to set up a nice way to have a certain set of hotbars for when i am killing mobs alone / doing fates and another set of hotbars for when i am healing dungeons so that i can have macro's like /ac "drain" <tt> ect for ease while healing. So what i had figured out was a simple macro linked with my summons to swap out the hotbars like:

It worked until i realized that i cannot set keybinds to both sets of bars, meaning i cant have hotbar 1's keybinds be 1-12 and have hotbar 4's keybinds 1-12 aswell (i think this is because the hotbars don't actually turn off only the display does) Is there a work around for this? any way to get the same kind of result but being able to key bind them the way i would like? If you have any ideas please let me know!

You'll need a hotbar you're not using for anything else for this. Say, hotbar 7. Make sure hotbars 1-7 are set to not be shared.

/hotbar copy SCH 1 SCH 7
/hotbar copy SCH 4 SCH 1
/hotbar copy SCH 7 SCH 4
/hotbar copy SCH 2 SCH 7
/hotbar copy SCH 5 SCH 2
/hotbar copy SCH 7 SCH 5

This will swap the items set in hotbars 1-2-3 with the items set in hotbars 4-5-6. See here.

Woooooooooooooot!!!! this is PERFECT thank you so much! just got it set up and :O! loving it lol there was 1 issue with what you linked you had it set like "hotbar copy SCH 6 SCH 1" when it needed to be "hotbar copy SCH 6 SCH 3" but after i got that sorted it was GREAT!! thanks again!

I haven't tested it, but I believe that would work.

If it does work, this gives you a lot of swap space to work with once you unlock all the crafting and gathering classes. Because who uses 6 hotbars on Miner?

I can't make it working. Not even with BLM1 BLM 3, though. But it doesn't give any error message either.Dang.

Are all the hotbars in question set to not be shared?

Are you maybe using the cross hot bar? The command for that is /chotbar (or /crosshotbar) instead of /hotbar.

I dunno, I am on PS3. There are not cross hotbars as far as I know. I tried with both shared and not shared hotbars. At least an error message would be nice, like in the case of /crosshotbar (I used also /chotbar) not recognized. I'll check again.

EDIT: never mind. I had to use the command /chotbar. Here is a link with a detailed explanation of (all?) macros:

Oh, and the cross class hotbar copy works as intended!!

Just to confirm that it does work indeed (use /chotbar for PS3) and it is a life saviour!!! Also to bump the post for people who missed it.
